Economic Counselor and Chief of the Economic Section of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the US

Jiang Pan is economic counselor and chief of Economic Section of Chinese Embassy to USA from 2014, working on the commercial and economic cooperation between Sino-US, introducing advanced investment experience to Chinese SME. He used to be deputy secretary general of China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, which engaged Chinese SME’s sustainable development in financial market. During this period, he led to establish China investment and finance Exhibition for SMEs which could provide service to more 20 thousand SMEs in one year.
As a social servant, he worked in National Development and Reform Commission for more than 12 years. He used to act as vice mayor of Ningguo City, Anhui Province in charge of Ningguo Development & Reform Commission and Finance Bureau. In 2015, he was awarded by World Economic Forum as Young Global Leader.
