Jie Gao is a PhD candidate at the Department of Urban Planning at Tianjin University and a current Visiting Scholar at the Program on Chinese Cities. Her research interests focus on inventory planning, brownfield renewal, and ecological safety. She has participated in writing chapters for three books, and issued five articles. She has been a Visiting Scholar at the Program on Chinese Cities since October 2015.
